I've officially switched to Ask.com as my default browser. I was using Blingo(Google) before. Ask is just so pretty and I saw a commercial that convinced me. It's all there in one spot, nice and neat. Loving it.

So, I've had my Roomba 535 for two days and I am in love with this thing! I have terrible dust allergies and when I vacuum I am miserable for hours after from the dust it stirs up so I don't do it nearly as often as I should, considering I have two cats. I ran the Roomba yesterday and I cannot believe the amount of cat hair it picked up. It did an unbelievably good job.
It's as good or better than my current upright vacuum, which is a beast of a thing with lots of power. All in all, so far, I have never been this pleased with any purchase I've ever made. I had high expectations for it, and it has more than surpassed them.
I got it from HSN.com for $249.90, with a 15% off coupon code I found on retailmenot.com(another great, recent discovery) so it came out to $212.42. HSN lets you split it up into 4 monthly payments, so it's great!
Anyway, if you've ever considered getting a Roomba, the new 500 series is definitely worth it!
(Unfortunately I'm not getting paid to say any of this, I'm just REALLY impressed.)
Good News For Helio
Woohoo, good news for Helio, but of course, I can't say anything. Gotta wait for the stupid Press Release. Blah, blah, blah. Exciting stuff though!
Silly, Fluffy Pop Songs…Gotta Love ’em
It's amazing how a silly, fluffy pop song can remind me that life really is incredibly wonderful. Am listening to Hellogoodbye's "Here (In Your Arms)" and it has pulled a 180 on my mood.
I've got lots of turmoil going on in my mind, lots of decisions to make, some that will not be fun no matter what I choose, but life isn't bad. I live in a gorgeous home in a gorgeous city in a wonderful state in an amazing country. I have more than enough(too much) food to eat on a daily basis, and I never really worry if I'll have food to eat. I have clean water to drink, and a steady job that ranks me in the TOP 4.04% richest people in the world(Don't be shocked, you're probably higher. Check it out at http://www.globalrichlist.com/)
To see that as someone who works a regular everyday job, and I'm in the top 4.04% of people in the world in relation to income, wow, that's sad. I strongly encourage you to check out that Web site and see where you rank. A few tidbits from the Web site:
$8 could buy you 15 organic apples OR 25 fruit trees for farmers in Honduras to grow and sell fruit at their local market.
$30 could buy you an ER DVD Boxset OR a First Aid kit for a village in Haiti.
$73 could buy you a new mobile phone OR a new mobile health clinic to care for AIDS orphans in Uganda.
$2400 could buy you a second generation High Definition TV OR schooling for an entire generation of school children in an Angolan village.
Wow, I'm fortunate, that's all I can say. And if you are able to be on a computer reading this, so are you.
So called reality
Right there on my TV
If that's how life's supposed to be
Well, somebody's lying
The camera's on
And we can tell
To keep your fame
You have to yell
'Cause tensions build
And products sell
And we're all buyin
I hope we're smarter than this
Everybody take a breath
Why are all your faces red
We're missing all the words you said
You don't have to yell
Draw your lines and choose your side
Cause many things are worth the fight
But louder doesn't make you right
You don't have to yell
Oh, you don't have to ye–ll, ye—ll, ye–ll
You don't have to yell
I tuned in to hear the news
I don't want your point of view
If thats the best that you can do
Then somethings missing
And experts on whatever side
You plug your ears, you scream your lines
You claim to have an open mind,
But nobody's listenin'
And don't you think we're smarter than this?
Everybody take a breath
Why are all your faces red
We're missing all the words you've said
You don't have to yell
Draw your lines and choose your side
Cause many things are worth the fight
But louder doesn't make you right
You don't have to yell
Oh, you don't have to ye–ll, ye—ll, ye–ll
You don't have to yell
Everybody take a breath
Why are all your faces red
We're missing all the words you said
You don't have to yell
If everyone would take a step
Back away and count to ten
Clear your mind and start again
We won't have to yell
Draw your lines
And Choose your side
Cause many things are worth the fight
But louder doesn't make you right
You don't have to yell
Oh, you don't have to ye–ll, ye—ll, ye–ll
You don't have to yell
You don't have to ye–ll, ye—ll, ye–ll
You don't have to yell
"You Don't Have To Yell" by Chris Rice on his upcoming album What A Heart Is Beating For
How do you let go of something that you've worked tirelessly on for seven years? I started and have maintained a youth support site for 7 years. I'm no longer passionate about it, I'm neglecting it, I need to make a decision. Hundreds, if not thousands, of youth still rely on it and find comfort and fellowship in it. What do I do!? It's maddening.
The last 24 hours have been really emotional. Lots of reflecting, looking up old friends and groups I used to be associated with. It's hard to move on, especially when the right now isn't nearly as appealing as it all was. I feel stuck, and I feel like I'm going nowhere. I feel like I COULD be going somewhere, but, circumstances aren't allowing for it. Blah! Circumstances I ultimately control.
*sigh* It's all nuts.

Joost Invites
For anyone who is interested, I've got a couple Joost invites. Let me know if you'd like one!
All gone! Amazing, Joost is in high demand.
Evil Bastard
I hope Americans become more aware of their surroundings and if this ever happens again they realize you can easily charge a guy and take him down when he's reloading a clip in a gun. Horrible. I'm so disgusted. My sadness has gone to anger back to sadness and now anger again.

So not funny…amazing how things change. Another school shooting. These things hit me like a bus. Columbine ruined me for a year, I mourned…I became an insomniac. Now I'm just angry. So angry. I wish I knew at who or what. So angry and losing hope in humanity. We keep trying to do good, but this keeps happening. I don't know if our little bits of good scattered about can actually overcome this kind of hatred and evil.
