Beaupedia

Alright, so the obvious.  For a long time I’ve wanted some witty name for my blog, screen names, etc.  Back in August my coworkers gave me a Birthday card, and one of them jokingly said in the card something like “For the answer to anything, use Beaupedia.”  I am the king of random, useless facts at work, and I mention Wikipedia at least twice a day.  So, Beaupedia has been stewing in my mind for a while.  I’ve now registered Beaupedia.com and Beaupedia.org because I am a huge geek.

Now that that’s all taken care of you can get to this blog any number of exciting, fantastic ways:

I’m not actually that exciting, but everyone should have their namesake domains registered.  And who knows, when I run for public office someday the beauhebert.net domain will probably come in handy.

Hello WordPress

Well, it is official.  I am moving to WordPress.  Vox is simply not open enough.  I couldn't use any blog writer, and I really wanted to use Windows Live Writer.  Now I'm using Windows Live Writer and it's excellent.  I'm really loving WordPress, come check me out sometime.

I Remember!

Ah Ha! Now I remember why I switched. It was right under my nose, and so obvious that it’s embarrassing. I became tired of how closed Vox was. I couldn’t use programs like Windows Live Writer! I even posted about the program in my second post! Unbelievable.

Looking Up

Well, things are looking up.  I'm posting for the first time on my new computer.  Only took 3 days to get it going…blah!

It's 12:30 AM and my first official day as Assistant Manager at our store.  We're a rapidly growing, small company so there is so much potential for me having gotten into management this quickly.  I'm excited, and I just I hope I do a great job!

I've recently signed up for Twitter, in addition to my blog.  It's random little posts throughout my day, very cool service.  I can post from my cell phone, an IM client, or on the Web.  You can also receive other people's twitters on any of the above.  Check out my Twitter page at: http://twitter.com/underdog83
